Here is exactly what our jewellery is made of, in plain words.

Base metal

Most of our pieces are made on stainless steel, a strong, hard-wearing metal that does not rust and is a good choice for sensitive skin. A few designs use a brass or alloy base. If you need to know the base metal of a specific piece, ask us before you order.

Gold plating

The base is coated in a layer of gold plating, then sealed with a clear protective layer that helps it resist water, sweat and everyday wear. Plating is not solid gold: with time and friction it can soften at the edges. Follow our care guide and it will last much longer.

Pearls, stones and crystal

Our pearls are imitation pearls (glass or shell), and our stones are cubic zirconia, glass or crystal. They are chosen for how they look and wear, not as precious stones.

Skin

Every skin is different. If you have a known metal allergy, ask us before you buy.
